Happy New Year From Sugar & Spice, Plus A Big Announcement!

happynewyear

Happy New Year! I hope that everybody will have a fantastic time ringing in 2010. I do hope that all of you who celebrated Christmas had a wonderful time this year.

I'm still without a cable modem. I've been doing a lot of soul searching lately, plus I've been talking to my sister. We've decided to give up the internet at our house for the time being. Money is really tight right now. It doesn't seem to be getting any better any time soon. We are giving up both our high speed internet and our digital cable service. We are just going to keep basic cable. That will save us some money every month. We are always looking for way to cut expenses.

I am putting this and my other blog on hiatus for the time being. I had been mulling doing this anyway before the situation with the cable modem arose. The modem dying just sealed it for me.

I've got a lot of things I want to try to work on in 2010. The last few years of my life have been rather rocky. Plus I will turn 40 in 2010. That's one of those milestone birthdays. There are some goals I'm setting for myself that I want to accomplish in this year.

I really want to get back into shape. I've gained a lot of weight over the last few years. When I'm stressed out, I eat a lot. I've been stressed out so much due to work and other factors. I want to start eating better and working out again.

I also want to try to find another job this year. It's not getting any better at work. I'm thankful that I've got a job when so many others are still out of work. I still would like to figure out something else to do. I'm not getting the hours or the pay I was a few years back. It's been a real struggle.

I want to work on my spiritual life as well. I'm not sure if it's because I'm getting older or what, but I've been thinking about spiritual matters a lot lately. I plan to start going to a house of worship in a few weeks. I want to work on my relationship with God. Plus it will give me a chance to be part of some community and something greater than myself.

I have so much enjoyed doing both my blogs. I've had a lot of fun. I've meet a lot of great people. I'm going to miss it. But I feel like I need to take this break for now so I can concentrate on some other areas of my life. Blogs tend to take so much time and energy. I need to focus that instead on improving my life. I'm not saying I'll never come back. I may be back in a month or it could be six months or more. I'm not sure. Thanks so much for all the support and friendship you've all given me since I starting blogging. It means the world to me. I care about you guys a lot.

I'll be able to get on the internet a few times a week at my grandmother's. I plan to keep my pages on Facebook and MySpace. For those that I'm friends with on either, we can keep in touch there. If you are on either of those and we are not friends yet, I hope that you will become my friend. I do want to stay in touch.

I hope all of you will understand what's going on. Please don't be upset with you. This is just something I need to do. My sister Stephanie is taking a break from her blog Chic Femme as well. I'm not sure how long her break will be. It could be shorter or longer than mine. She's working on getting into graduate school.

Take care. I wish you all the best in 2010. God bless you all. Cheers!

Merry Christmas From Sugar & Spice

I did want to say that I hope all of you have enjoyed all these Christmas posts here at Sugar & Spice. I had so much fun putting these together. They definitely helped put me in the holiday spirit. I thought there was no better way than to end them with the very sexy Dita Von Teese, plus I've included a video of Kylie Minogue singing Santa Baby.

I'm not going to be back as soon as I thought. My cable modem has died. I'm going to have to get another one. I don't have the money for that yet. It will be at least Monday, January 4th before I'm back up here.

I hope that all of you will have a wonderful time with your loved ones. Take good care of yourselves. God bless you all. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Helping Hot Babes Decorate For The Holidays

I don't know about you guys, but this has been a very busy holiday season for me. I've been helping Jane Russell, Tina Louise, Jayne Mansfield, Marilyn Monroe, Sharon Tate & Rita Hayworth all get ready for Christmas. These beautiful ladies all love decorating for the holidays. I don't mind helping though. I'm that kind of guy. :-)

Some Random Christmas Things For Your Viewing Pleasure

I had all these images and wasn't sure how else to post them. I did want to share all of them with you. I threw them all together so you could see them.

I hope you will enjoy all these Christmas images I'm posting here today. Which one is your favorite of all of these? Personally I love the one of Santa spanking the hot babe. I always knew Santa was a dirty old man. He loves to spank naughty girls. :-)

Beautiful women sell products all year round, even during the holiday season. These are just some of the ads I've come across. You could probably have a hot babe advertise anything and somebody's going to buy it. So which of these ads is your favorite? I really love the very first one myself.

Some Of My Favorite December Playboy Covers, Plus Winner of Cold Plasma Giveaway

Here are some of my favorite Playboy covers from December throughout the years. Nothing says Christmas quite like Playboy. :-) So which of these do you like the best?

The first one of these I actually ever saw was the Joan Collins issue. I found it in one of my uncle's porn stash when I was a young teenager. That definitely made my Christmas that year. :-)

Mariah Carey - All I Want For Christmas Is You

mariah_christmas_tree_2

CHRSTMS__Mariah-Carey-Christmas-5-frombill

The second of the two above photos comes from my friend Bill.

Mariah Carey released her Christmas album called Merry Christmas in 1994. It has gone on to become the best selling holiday album of all time. The most popular song from it is All I Want For Christmas Is You. I do love this song. It's really catchy and puts me in the holiday spirit.

The Holiday Season Starts Now At Sugar & Spice

The holiday season has arrived here at Sugar & Spice. I will be doing Christmas posts from now until Wednesday, December 23rd. That day will be my last post until Monday, December 28th. I will taking off to celebrate Christmas with my family and friends during my holiday break. I hope you will make sure to come back each weekday until then to see what I've posted next.

I love this photo of Ann-Margret. I've had several friends send me these over time. I would love to come down on Christmas Eve night to find Ann-Margret relaxing at my fireplace. She would definitely be a Christmas present that would put a big smile on my face. Who or what would you like to find under your Christmas tree?

They Just Don't Make Supermodels Like They Once Did

models

That is a photo from 1990 of Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista, Tatjana Patitz, Christy Turlington & Cindy Crawford. I always loved the supermodels of that era. It's great to see so many of the models of the 1980's/1990's out there again in commercials and print ads.

They just don't make models like this anymore. These girls actually had bodies. Plus they had personalities of their own. So many of the models out there today seem like skinny mindless zombies.

I had a huge crush on so many of them. Did any of you have a favorite supermodel from back then? Mine was Christy Turlington. I plan to start posting more pictures of all of these supermodels and many more in the future.

Here are two George Michael videos that featured quite a few supermodels, such as the ones above and Tyra Banks.

Zoe Saldana Is Out Of This World

star trek

Zoe Saldana was born in New Jersey on June 19, 1978 to a Dominican father and a Puerto Rican mother. She grew up in the Dominican Republic, but returned to the United States during high school. Zoe's credits include
Crossroads (2002), Drumline (2002), Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003), Guess Who (2005), etc. She is probably most well known now as Uhura in the new Star Trek franchise. I'd love to fly around the universe on a starship with her. Zoe's next film is the long awaited new film from James Cameron called Avatar.
