Joan Collins Featured On December 1983 Cover Of Playboy

I've had a crush on Joan Collins since I can remember. I first discovered her when she joined the cast of Dynasty as Alexis Carrington. I then ended up watching some of her movies from the 1970's, such as The Stud and The Bitch. Let me tell you something. I really fell hard for her then. I didn't care that she was older than my mom. I know I wasn't the only one. Many of the boys I knew had a thing for her. We were totally excited when she appeared in Playboy. Here's the 1983 December cover of Playboy featuring Joan Collins.

If you can Keith, it's worth digging out a copy of a UK seventies show The Persuaders starring Tony Curtis and Roger Moore - there's a great episode starring Joan Collins, the show also has a fab John Barry theme tune

Hey Dave. Thanks. I've heard of the show, but never had a chance to see any of it. I never knew that she had guest starred on an episode though. I'll definitely have to see if I can get hold of that.

That's a stunning cover. I remember when that issue came out. My dad had it. She was my idol back in the days of Alexis on Dynasty. That's probably why I turned out like I did. :-)

Hey Phoebe. One of my uncles had this issue. I loved her on Dynasty. I would go on to see those movies (The Stud & The Bitch) based on her sis Jackie's books. That made me love her even more. lol

Remember that cover well, and the night several of us caught a double bill of The Stud/The Bitch at a midnight screening in London after a gig. She certainly kept us all awake, which was no mean feat after all the ale we'd consumed.

Hey Steve. Thanks for the comments. I've always loved that cover. That's really cool about seeing the double bill of The Stud & The Bitch. Joan definitely has had that effect on many boys and men.

Face-lifts aside, she's held up really well. Her voice alone can curl your hair :-D Joan Collins, Eartha Kitt, and Kathleen Turner are tops when it comes to sexy pipes in my book.

Hey Darius. Thanks for the comments. I totally agree. I always loved her accent. That voice of hers always did something to me.
