Claudia Jennings In Playboy

claudia-jennings

This is Claudia Jennings as November 1969's Playmate of the Month in Playboy magazine. Claudia would be selected as Playmate of the Year in 1970. She would go on to play in a bunch of B-movies during the 1970's, such as Unholy Rollers (1972) and Gator Bait (1974). She was killed in a car accident on October 3, 1979. She was less than two months shy of turning 30.

Was surprised to read in Maureen McCormick's book that she and Claudia were close friends! There's even a read-between-the-lines implication that they may have been more than friends (and fellow dopers)!

Hey Steve. Thanks for the comments. I've been wanting to read her book. Wow! I had no clue. I definitely need to read that book now. Sounds very interesting. :-)

I love this collage. I've seen a few of her movies. It is sad that she died so young. There were quite a few stars that we lost at such an early age back then.

Hey Phoebe. Thanks for the comments. Glad you liked this. I've had it for awhile, but just hadn't posted it. I wanted to mention her. I do want to post more about her. I'm in a mood to watch some more of her movies right now.

Which of her movies have you seen?

I've seen Gator Bait and Unholy Rollers. That's it though. I've got a couple of more in my Netflix queue.

Those are the only two of hers I've seen. I was wondering if you had seen any others. I was going to find out your opinion on them.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help. I really want to see more of her movies, but that's been it for me. Those two were years ago. I don't think they are even available on Netflix. I guess you might be able to buy them. I'm not sure. I do want to see those that on Netflix though. Let me know if you see any other ones.

I can't bring myself to read Maureen McCormick's autobiography for that it might warp my image of Marcia Brady.

I'm still processing Booksteve's comment, and trying to wrap my brain around it.

Does not compute, does not compute, does not compute...

Gatorbait is absolutely ace and along with Thriller: A Cruel Picture is the ultimate girls with guns movie. Claudia as Desiree was awesome.

Hey Gil. Thanks for the comments. I've been shocked by some of the things I've heard are in her book. I know you always find out some dirty secrets from the past of celebs if they write a tell all autobiography, but some of these things really surprise me about her.

Hey Nigel. Thanks for the comments. Great hearing from you. I totally agree with you. I love both those movies. Very awesome.

Hey Nigel. Thanks. I appreciate that. I'm a big fan of your blog. I try to comment, but even if I don't I am reading your blog posts. If I ever say something on your blog about you checking out mine, it's just because there might be something I'm hoping to get your feedback on. That's all. Have a great weekend.
