I Always Had A Crush On Debbie Harry

One of my first boyhood crushes was on Debbie Harry. I thought she was so sexy and cool, plus she rocked out as the lead singer of Blondie.

I had a major crush on Debbie Harry growing up. I begged for a poster of her as a kid and finally got it for my birthday. To quote Steve Martin... "the hours I spent holding up her poster with one hand".

Actually got to see Debbie in concert about 10 years ago. Blondie created the most perfect pop songs, economical in length and always memorable. Nice to see her on your site, Keith.

Oh, man, me too. I remember being incredibly young and hearing "Heart of Glass" on my dad's 8-track and feeling all tingly. Debbie's voice is liquid heaven.

Hey K & S. Thanks for the comments. I'm glad I'm not the only one that had a crush on Debbie Harry. She was one of the first women I can remember having a thing for. She really made the hormones race.

Hey Rev. Thanks. Besides having a crush on her, I thought the music of Blondie was awesome.

Gotta wholeheartedly agree with you, Keith! BLONDIE was (and still are) a fabulous group and Debbie Harry was my main dream girl back in '79-'80.

She's got a great set of pipes on her, "Heart Of Glass" and "Dreaming" are two of my favorite Blondie songs. Wished SNL would rerun the episode which she hosted....great actor too.

Excellent site...keep up the great work!

Blondie has a rich back catalog of happening hits and Ms. Harry is quite the attractive dish. Especially liked her in Videodrome.
