I have such a huge crush on Ann-Margret. When I think of red-headed women I love, she's the first to come to mind. She's got the right amount of fiery spunk in her.
I did a post earlier about how much I loved Mary Elizabeth Winstead in Death Proof. One of the other girls that I was crushing on big time was Sydney Tamiia Poitier. She's the daughter of the legendary Oscar winning actor Sidney Poitier. Sydney plays the role of Jungle Julia, a wise talking radio dj. Julia has quite the mouth on her as she's never at a loss for words. She knows a lot about music. She's also incredibly gorgeous. Check out those very sexy legs of hers. Wow!
Sophia Loren and I are going away for the weekend to some nice hotel. I hope everybody has a wonderful weekend. Cheers!
P.S. This Monday (May 25th) is the Memorial Day holiday here in the United States. I'm going to be taking off my blogging that day. I will return on Tuesday, May 26th. I hope to see you guys back here then. I wish all my fellow Americans a fantastic holiday weekend. Cheers!
I told my girlfriend that this guy was giving me some trouble at work. She decided to take matters into her own hands. I had no idea this is what she meant.
Seriously though. That's Soledad Miranda in the 1971 Jess Franco film The Devil Came From Akasava. She's credited in the film as Susann Korda. This movie could be considered to be a Franco contribution to Euro-Spy genre. A certain stone is discovered that can turn metal into gold, but also has the effect of turning humans into zombies. It seems everybody wants this stone. Secret agents are sent in on a mission to retrieve it. This is actually one of my favorite Jess Franco films. It's got all the hallmarks of a Franco film that his fans love and his critics hate. The sexy beauty of Soledad Miranda is on full display here. I could watch that women for hours and hours. Tragically she was killed in a car accident soon after filming was completed on this film.
Check out the trailer to get a better idea of what this movie is all about:
I am a huge fan of Russ Meyer. It doesn't get much better than Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!. I really love this poster. I've also included a clip of the opening sequence of the movie. It gives you a good idea of what you are in for. Plus I really dig that tune.
It's time for some erotic cinema here at Sugar & Spice. We will be watching Emmanuelle in our private screening room. That would be cool, wouldn't it? :-) I've always loved this poster. It's such an iconic image to me. The poster is sexy, but not sleazy.
I love sports. I've always been better at watching than playing though. This is one sport, however, that I might really want to get my hands dirty with. ;-)
I hope everybody will have a great weekend. I'm spending mine with Edwige Fenech. She's really excited about it. She can't quit calling me wanting to chat about all the fun we are going to have. :-)
I don't know about you guys, but I think it's time for some more Pam Grier. I think I might have to watch one of her movies very soon. Enjoy this poster for Friday Foster. That's one lucky dude featured in it with her.
While I've seen What's New Pussycat?, I've never seen its sequel Pussycat, Pussycat, I Love You. Here's the poster and trailer for the film released in 1970. It looks like it would be a cool and fun movie to watch. Anybody here ever seen this one?
It's time for The Biggest Bundle Of Them All. The 1967 film stars Robert Wagner as the leader of a gang of crooks, plus Raquel Welch plays his girlfriend. I love this poster. I hope you like it too. We can definitely see that the marketing campaign had the right idea.
