I always wondered what it would be like to a sailor. The adventures of being out to sea, plus the wine, women & song when I was back on land. That always seemed like quite the life.
P.S. Thanks to all those who offered words of advice to me. I really appreciate it very much. I don't usually talk about my personal life here at my blog, but this has been something deeply on my mind. I'm glad nobody was offended by me talking about such matters. Many of you, either here in comments or by email, offered some great advice.
It was nice to hear about how things have been going with all of you. Some of you had better news than others. I do care about all my friends here. I hope that things will go well for all of you. These are some difficult and worrisome times for us. I wish all of you the best. Take care. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I don't know any spicy sea songs but I know a few dirty limericks.
Thanks Keith. I wish you all the best as well.
Cheers!
Hi Keith, ahhh, a picture from a time when smoking was a normal way of life before the health craze! I wish you a nice week, even in these hard times!
Hey K&S. Good one. I could imagine sitting back with a chick on my knee, a pint in my hand & singing some songs of the sea.
Thanks Metal. I appreciate that. Cheers!
Thanks Mirko. Glad you liked it. I like seeing pictures of smoking. The PC world we live in today freaks out over stuff like this. I don't care though. Enjoy your week. Cheers!
Many of the men in my family have served in the U.S. Navy. They sing all sorts of songs. I love hearing them. I bet this would be a good album to listen to.
Thanks Phoebe. That's really cool. I've got some relatives too that were in the Navy. I do like the songs that you will hear sailors, pirates, etc. sing.
hehe yeah most guys prefer long hair on girls I think! I also prefer long hair :) good luck with the ads!
Keith thanks for the positive energy send out. We need to all be doing this. I think that you are doing the right move. I find blogging helps me in touch with a sort of more creative side. Also I have been reading The Artists' Way because although I kind of am not crazy about what I do I have developed outlets like playing music that have helped me through things:)
Thanks Pop. I appreciate it. I seem to come across most people preferring longer hair.
Hey Deana. Thanks. I appreciate that. I love blogging. It's definitely a wonderful escape from the daily grind of life. I've heard of that book you mentioned. I'll have to get my hands on it. Take care. I wish you the best. Cheers!
i used to think life at sea would be pretty nice until i saw The Deadliest Catch. That will make you reevaluate right quick.
All the best Keith I think so many of us are in the same boat now (on pun intended) let's hope things shape up soon
shiver me timbers - that redhead is looking more than ship shape to me
Hey Mrs. M, Oh yeah. I guess that would definitely make one lose the romantic idea of what life on the sea would be like. I've probably watched too many movies that glamorize life on the sea. :-)
Thanks Dave. I appreciate that. I hope your week has started off well. Cheers!
Thanks Scott. Glad you liked her. I thought she was really smokin' hot (pun intended). :-)
