There's Nothing Like Beach Movies During Summertime
This summer I've really been in a mood for some beach movies. I've always enjoyed watching these flicks during this season of the year. They have so much to offer, including hot babes, beautiful beaches & cool music. Here are posters of some of the ones I like. What are your favorite beach movies?

What is it about vintage movie posters? They're just seriously cool... ok, maybe not always seriously. The last one had me cracking up!
Its ages since Ive seen an Elvis movie. During the 1970's when I was a child it seemed there was always an Elvis 'beach movie' on tv. They were really bad, but he was so charismatic it didnt matter, they were fun. Thanks so much for your lovely comments, unfortunately Im having a problem with a persistent 'pain in the ass' so having to turn my comments off again ...... I didnt know I was so popular LOL! Hopefully they will tire of me soon X

Hey Haute. These posters were awesome. It didn't matter what genre. The posters were usually fantastic. I can't say the same for most posters of today.
Hey Vintage. I love beach movies. Not all of them are that good to be honest. They are still fun to watch. Elvis and the beach go hand in hand. Sorry to hear about the creep that's causing you to have to keep cutting off your comments. That's such a shame. Take care. Good luck.

I'd also recommend Dogtown and the Z Boys (the documentary, not the dramatisation) for a snapshot of summer in the seventies

man I wish there is a beach where I live, but instead we got a man made canal that was made during ww2. And I guess there's the river, but they dump sewer in it :S awww they all look so happy by the beach LOL

Awesome and colorful selection - summertime cool, Keith. On Comcast, the Retro movie channel has been showing a bunch of the Beach - Bingo - Surf type movies from the 60s lately. Been catching a few here and there - usually goofy and diggable in very watchable manner with great music acts and celebrity cameos. Last one I watched, 1964s Bikini Beach, had Stevie Wonder AND Don Rickles.

These are great posters. I just got in Beach Party, Beach Blanket Bingo, and It's a Bikini World. Will watch them soon and they are Uranium Cafe material for sure.
Tommy Kirk played Frankie's pal in a lot of the Beach flicks and I just got in a cool looking movie with him called Mars Needs Girls.
