It's Time For Some Caged Heat

I'm a big fan of WIP (women in prison) movies. I've seen so many of them. One of my favorites is Caged Heat, which was the directorial debut of Jonathan Demme. The movie was made for Roger Corman's company. Demme made a film that was above the standard run of the mill movie in this genre. I like it a lot, plus the movie counts Rainbeaux Smith (I love her!) among one of its cast members. I hope you like this poster. Anybody here ever seen this film?

Britt Ekland Is Smokin' Hot!

I really love this picture of Britt Ekland. It's actually one of my favorite shots of her. It was sent to me awhile ago by my good friend Bill.

A Bedazzling Album

I had posted about Bedazzled in the past. Here's the album cover for the film's soundtrack. They definitely make sure they promote Raquel Welch on the cover even though she's not the star of the film at all.

My Favorite Playboy Covers: Barbie Benton

Here's another one of my favorite Playboy covers. I've always had a thing for Barbie Benton. She had a long term relationship with Hugh Hefner. He's one lucky devil. There was definitely something special between her and Hef. I find this cover incredibly sexy. I really love that she's got tan lines. I hope you enjoy this cover.

The Baroness Is A Sexy & Seductive Secret Agent

I am a big fan of the spy novels of the 1970's. One of my favorite series is The Baroness by Paul Kenyon. I believe there were only around eight books in this particular franchise. The main character is Baroness Penelope St. John-Orsini. She lives a hedonistic lifestyle among the international jet set crowd. She is secretly a spy always on a new adventure to save the world. She uses a modeling agency as her cover. These books mix action, sex & so much more to entice their readers. Here are a few of the covers. I hope you enjoy them.

20 (Plus 2) Women I Admire Meme

I was tagged by Molly at Ashcan Rantings to participate in this meme. It's called 20 Women I Admire. I had created a meme recently over at The Dino Lounge about 20 Men I Admire. It got a lot of great response. I was very thrilled with that. I was more than happy to participate in this meme that Molly created.

I had done a meme awhile ago that was called The 20 Actresses Meme. I posted many of my favorite actresses from the 1960's and 1970's. I didn't want to repeat that same list with this particular meme. I decided to do something a little different. This new list features women that have all played Bond girls.

Some might find it strange that someone can admire women that have played Bond girls. Personally I do. This is an elite club of women. There are so many actresses that would kill to play in the latest Bond film. All of these women are very beautiful. Of course, some of the characters are more or less eye candy. There's nothing necessarily wrong with that. But there are also plenty of these characters who are strong and very capable women in their own right. They play a big part in the success of Bond's mission.

I have picked one woman from each Bond film. There are other women I love from these movies, but these are the ones I chose. They are not in the order of preference, but in the order of the year their particular film came out. I hope you like my list. Let me know which of these women you really like. I'm not going to tag anyone, but please feel free to participate yourself if you like. Thanks.

Wanna take a bike ride with Sophia Loren?

P.S. My friend Dave over at Planet Mondo has asked me if I would make mention of a great new blog called Boca Di Lupo. It's a blog he set up for a band known as The Wolfmen. I've posted one of their videos below. Two of the members were in Adam and The Ants back in the 80's. I hope you'll check it out. It's really a cool blog. Thanks.

Edwige Fenech Is A Goddess Among Women

edwige

Anybody who really knows me will know that I've got a huge crush on Edwige Fenech. I thought it was time I did another posting about her. I love that picture of her. It's probably one of my favorite pictures I've ever seen of Edwige. She's so incredibly beautiful. She's definitely a goddess among women. Here's a great tribute video dedicated to her. I hope you enjoy it. It's got some beautiful shots of Edwige, plus I really love that song.

I always thought Serge Gainsbourg and Jane Birkin were such a cool couple. Serge had relationships with some of the most beautiful women of the era. What a lucky devil! Here's a clip of the controversial hit song
Je T'aime... Moi Non Plus by Serge and Jane. I love that song and video. I hope you enjoy it too. Cheers!

Dorothy Stratten - Gone Too Soon

Dorothy Stratten was Miss August 1979 in Playboy. She was crowned Playmate of the Year in 1980. She also worked for a time as a Playboy Bunny in Los Angeles. Her life and career (acting credits include Galaxina in 1980) were cut way too short by her estranged husband. He murdered her in August of 1980. I really didn't know who Dorothy Stratten was when she was alive. I was not even ten years old when she was killed. I think I first learned about her when Star 80 came out in 1983. Once I discovered what an amazing beauty she had been. I felt so awful that she had not lived longer. I wanted to know all I could about her. She's another one of those that was gone too soon. It's a shame that we didn't get to have her with us longer. I hope you like this picture and tribute video I'm posting of her.

For Your Sighs Only

I was tagged by Molly at Ashcan Rantings to participate in a meme.

The Rules:

1. Go to the 4th folder in your computer where you store your pictures.
2. Pick the 4th picture in that folder.
3. Explain the picture.
4. Tag 4 people to do the same!

Here goes:

I've never read this book before, but I really love this cover.
I also dig the title of For Your Sighs Only. It doesn't get much better than a sexy chick with a gun. This looks to be another one of those Bond knockoff books. There's nothing wrong with that though. I would read it if I ever had the chance. I hope you like this cover too.

I'm tagging my friends at:

Don't Make Waves - Tony Curtis With Claudia Cardinale & Sharon Tate

I've watched Don't Make Waves several times over the years. I saw it the other day on television. I'm a big fan of Tony Curtis. He's one of the actors from the 60's that I most admire. I also have quite a crush on both Claudia Cardinale and Sharon Tate. If you haven't seen this movie, I hope you'll give it a shot. I think you'll enjoy it.

Daniela Bianchi In From Russia With Love

From Russia With Love (1963) is not only my favorite of the Sean Connery Bond films, but it's actually my favorite James Bond film. It also co-stars one of my favorite Bond girls. I am totally in love and lust with Daniela Bianchi. I fell for her when she played Soviet agent Tatiana Romanova. Daniela is best remembered for her role as a Bond girl. She only acted for a few more years before retiring from the screen. Some of her other credits include 1966's Operation Lady Chaplin and 1967's Operation Kid Brother (which starred Sean's younger brother Neil). I hope you like this picture and tribute video I've posted.

James Bond & Hot Babes From Thunderball

One of my favorite of the James Bond films starring Sean Connery is 1965's Thunderball. I love these two images. 007 looks very cool decked out in his wet gear and with his weapon in hand. He's ready for some action. Plus check out all the hot babes in their swimsuits. I think they are ready for some action of their own. ;-)
