These gorgeous pictures of Ava Gardner come courtesy of my friend Kat. I sure wouldn't mind being stranded on a deserted island with the likes of Ava. :-)
These photos are beautiful. I remember seeing many of these actresses in 50's, 60's, and 70's cinema when I was growing up. My parents were movie buffs, and we went to see every James Bond and any other spy film that was out at the time.

Ava was such a beauty. She was even dubbed the most beautiful woman in the world in 1951. I adore her I read her autobiography great read. No wonder Frank Sinatra loved her so much, she was the love of his life and visa versa.
Hey Mel. Thanks. I'm glad you're a fan of Ava. I am too. She's amazing. I think her and Frank were great together. It's so cool that they were the loves of each other's lives.
