Mareva Galanter Brings Back 1960's France
I've only recently discovered Mareva Galanter. She's a French actress and singer. Mareva was born on February 4, 1979 in Papeete, Tahiti. She is a former beauty queen in French Polynesia, winning both the Miss World of Islands and Miss Tahiti beauty contests in 1998. She then went on to win Miss France in 1999. She has been in several movies, including 2006's The Pink Panther. Mareva released an album entitled Ukuyéyé in 2006, which will remind one of the 60's sounds of France Gall. The album and its videos definitely have a retro vibe. The videos actually have a Scopitone feel to them. I think they are ultra-cool. I thought I would post a couple of them here for your enjoyment.

Wow, she sure knows how to wear a bikini.
Hey Dave. Thanks. Glad you liked this post.
Hey J.D. Thanks. I definitely agree with you there. She's hot.
I've been getting interested in French music of the 1960's. You have something to do with that. I love how she's got that flair to her music with a modern twist. Thank you for posting these. I love both of these videos. She is very beautiful.
Hey Phoebe. Thanks for the comments. Glad I could help get you hooked on 60's French pop. I do like how she mixes the retro with the modern. I love these songs and videos. Cheers!
wow, lovely. Hahaha, I love how J.d (the guy who commented) has a Bill Murray photo (my favorite dude ever). Keith, you should take a staycation!!! get your mind off of crap and just chill out.
Hey Deana. Thanks for the comments. Yeah, Bill Murray is pretty cool. I've always liked his movies. I do need a vacation. Can't really take one at this job. I don't get paid for taking off. I need the money too much. I do want to get away for a weekend soon, especially when the weather gets warmer. It's just too cold right now. Have a great weekend!
She is fabulous!
Am loving all your blogs, K!
