Soledad Miranda Kills In Ecstasy
One of my favorite films from Jess Franco is She Killed in Ecstasy. It starred the incredibly beautiful Soledad Miranda. The termination of a doctor's project causes him to commit suicide. His wife, played by Soledad, takes her revenge on those responsible for the termination. She seduces them and then kills them. I want to actually do a review of this film in the future. For the time being, however, I'm posting this DVD cover and clip from the film. I really love the trippy music in this clip.

I just watched this movie recently. I enjoyed it. The music in a Franco picture is one of the best things.
Look forward to a review of this film. One of many Franco films that tick the boxes for me. Terrible tragedy when Miranda died.

Hey Dave. Yeah, that's the picture used on the cover of that soundtrack. That album had songs from several movies.

Hey Phoebe. I'm a big fan of both of them. My favorite Franco movies are probably the ones Soledad played in. It's hard for me to pick which one I like the best though.
Wish I knew more about Jess Franco and which films to watch and which to avoid. Didn't he do Venus in Furs? I have that on DVD and liked it. But I have heard some of his stuff, like Lucio Fulci's, is to be avoided except by the cognisenti. I also do not know much about this lady's work except from Vampyr Lesbos which I also have on DVD here in my archives. In some ways I like that film but like a lot of "eurosleaze" films it seemed to drag unmercifully at times.

Hey Bill. Thanks for the comments. Franco can be an acquired taste. Plus many of his movies are hit or miss. I've had some recommended to me that I didn't understand or didn't like. Others I was told to avoid, but I ended up liking them. He does have some real stinkers out there. Yeah, he did do Venus in Furs. I liked that one too. Soledad died at age 27. I liked Vampyros Lesbos. If you liked it, then you'll like this one I think. Eurosleaze can be so slow at times. I guess that's one of those things you have to deal with. I do hope you'll see some more Franco movies. Best thing is to probably look up some of his movies and check out the reviews on them.
