Catherine Deneuve Is Another French Goddess

I guess I must be in a French mood. Yesterday it was Brigitte Bardot and today it is Catherine Deneuve. Even though I was not a big fan of The Hunger, I still fell under Catherine's spell when I saw that film for the first time. I've seen her in so many films over the years, everything from Belle de jour to Indochine to 8 Femmes. She, along with Bardot, represent to me the epitome of classic French beauty.

Have you seen Repulsion? Very trippy, and very weird. The plot is essentially Deneuve's character going crazy during a week alone. I have not seen it for a while, but might be up your alley.

Hey Darius. Thanks for the comments. Yeah, I have seen Repulsion before. It was quite strange. It's been awhile since I've seen it though. I might have to try to check it out again soon.

Great pics! I love Catherine Denevue as well. She always seems like such a classy lady with a deadly mix of incredible acting talent and stunning beauty.

Amazing - did you ever catch her in The Hunger with David Bowie?

Hey J.D. Thanks for the comments. I couldn't have described her any better than that. I totally agree with what you wrote. That's how I feel about her.
