Fashion Alert: Scarves Spice Up Your Wardrobe!

Scarves have become quite a popular accessory in women's fashion today. I can totally understand why. They really add that extra something special to any ensemble you've put together.

They can worn with so many different looks, whether it's bohemian cool, ultra chic, or whatever else your personal style might be. A scarf looks great paired with some jeans and a white t-shirt. A silk scarf can also compliment that beautiful dress you were going to wear for dinner.

I've seen silk scarves worn in so many versatile ways. I've seen them draped around the head, tied into the hair, worn around the neck or shoulders, around the waist in a wrap, etc. The possibilities seem endless for what you can wear scarves with and how you can wear them. That's why scarves for women are definitely one of the top accessories out there.

It's not just our favorite female celebs who are sporting scarves. I've seen countless women on the street wearing scarves in whatever manner strikes their fancy. You can buy a silk scarf pretty much anywhere these days. You can spend as much or as little as you like on them.

I was recently turned on to a wonderful company that makes and sells the most stunning women's scarves, shawls, tops, dresses, etc. I had to share them with you. They are called Women Clothing Today. You must visit their site. You won't be sorry for it at all. They are a family business based in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. Each of their silk products is crafted by hand. They aren't mass produced by some machine. These are hand painted scarves, each is unique to itself. They are not only a lovely accessory, but an exquisite piece of art.

The silk products of Women Clothing Today look so soft, beautiful, luxurious, you name it. Silk is quite durable. It will absorb moisture and retain heat. You can wear silk all year round.
You will be the talk of the town with one of these scarves.

I thought I would show you some of my favorites from their women's silk scarves and shawls section.

So what do you think of these? I hope you like them. I sure know I do. They are so beautiful.
I love all the amazing colors and designs that they feature. There are so many more at the website. You'll definitely have to check it out. Visit their Silk Scarves Blog too while you're at it. They have so many wonderful hand painted and hand dyed scarves. Plus there are so many other products at their site as well. I'm sure you will get so many wonderful comments about these scarves when you wear them.

These silk products are colorfast, meaning that their gorgeous coloring won't run or fade. You can wash them. They are well made and of a great quality. Plus they are an affordable price. You will look beautiful and stylish with any of their scarves or other products. They can certainly add some spice to any outfit in your wardrobe. Show off your creativity, individuality, style, etc. with what you wear and how you wear it.

Do you wear scarves? If so, how do you wear them? Let me know what you think. Thank you.

Candice Swanepoel Is Victoria's Latest Secret For Summer

Candice Swanepoel is the latest bombshell to be modeling for Victoria's Secret. The South African beauty definitely looks great in a swimsuit. With summer coming to a close soon here, I thought it would be nice to see some beautiful eye candy of the season for your viewing pleasure. I hope you enjoy these sexy photos from GQ.

P.S. I wanted to thank all of those who offered such great tips about three column templates. I really appreciate it. I'm going to be checking all of those out. I'll be doing some experimenting to see if I can possibly find something I'd like to do here at my blog. I have been wanting to revamp my blog some if I can.

I also wanted to talk about something. I work for a cleaning service. I found out around six weeks ago that my boss lost the contract at the state office that I clean. This is where most of my hours are at. I had actually been cleaning this building since before this man took over. I had worked for the previous holder of the contract. This man here kept us on when he got the contract.

I've been really stressed out the last six weeks wondering who had gotten the contract. We heard a lot of rumors. We finally found out who got it. I do know the man. I've always had good dealings with him. I just don't know yet whether he plans to keep me and my co-worker on or not. If he does, I also don't know if he will cut our pay and hours.

I definitely don't want to lose this job. I really depend on it. Besides this particular place I clean, I clean a bank for one hour a night. I sure can't live off of one hour a night. I need more hours. I can't afford to lose this cleaning job at the state office. I'm also hoping if he keeps us on that he won't cut our hours or pay. It's been a struggle as it is. It would be even harder on me then. With the economy being in the dumps, it's hard to find other work around here. I know people who have been out of work for a year or more now. There just aren't jobs around. I hate to think of having to try to find something.

I don't often get personal at the blog. I did want to share what's going on in my life with my friends here. I hope you will keep me in your thoughts and/or prayers. I really would appreciate it so much. Thanks. God bless you.

The Beauty & Craftsmanship Of Murano Glass

I became a big fan of Venetian glass when I visited Italy ten years ago. I was amazed by all the beautiful things that could be made out of glass by these craftsmen.

Recently I saw a post on my friend Colin's blog, Sexy Legs and Body. It had to do with Murano Glass. I was so amazed by all the magnificent products that they have created. I had to check out their site. I'm so glad that I did.

These stunning glass creations are produced through excellent craftsmanship on a small island north of Venice. The glassmakers of Murano became the island's most prominent citizens. They also became highly respected in the Venetian Republic. Murano glass has been revered around the globe for centuries. It's so easy to see why customers around the world for generations have craved Murano glass.

I was looking through their products when I saw this beautiful pair of black Christina earrings. They are so beautiful and elegant. These earrings would look fantastic with pretty much anything in a woman's wardrobe. Visit Murano glass earrings to see this pair and all their other wonderful earrings.

I also love this Ipanema necklace. There is a pretty colored large bead in the center which is surrounded by chandelier cut beads and floral beads around that. Visit
Murano glass necklaces to see this necklace and all their other fantasic necklaces.

They don't only make jewelry, but also a variety of other products. They have glass animals, bowls, vases and so much more. I thought I would share a few of the other items they make that I adore.

Here is a red/blue/amber Murano glass bottle:

Here is a set of blue/gold lovebirds:

I hope you've enjoyed this look at the incredible world of Murano glass. I had a lot of fun putting this post together. Please check out their website. Maybe you'll feel like indulging yourself in one of their brilliant glass creations. I'm sure you won't be sorry. So which of their products do you really like? What would you buy if you were going to buy? Let me know what you think.

They Came From the 1980's: The Two Heathers

Do you remember the two Heathers of the 1980's? I'm sure any red-blooded male will remember these two sex kittens. I'm speaking of Heather Locklear and Heather Thomas. Every boy I knew at school had a crush on both of these two hot babes. Most boys, however, had a favorite between the two. My favorite was Heather Locklear, while my cousin preferred Heather Thomas. Both of these beautiful television stars played a big role in my adolescence. I still have very fond memories of the two Heathers.

Were any of you a fan of either, or both, of these gorgeous women?

Heather Locklear played on two television shows back in the 1980's, T.J. Hooker and Dynasty. I watched both of them.

Heather Thomas played on
The Fall Guy, which starred one of my idols (Lee Majors).

P.S. I'm seeking some advice. I know I've mentioned this before, but I wanted to get some help if I can. I really want to revamp both my blogs. The main thing is that I want to switch up to a three column template. I've looked around, but it's like I can't really find the right code. I see people around with some really cool looking blogs that have three columns. I'd love to still be able to use a blog header like the one I've got on this and my other blog. All the templates I find don't seem to let me use a header at all. Anybody have any suggestions at all? Do you know of or have a template code that I could use on this and my other blog? I would greatly appreciate any help at all. I'm not a tech whiz at all so I usually have trouble with this sort of thing. Thanks so much. You're the best.

Kate Beckinsale Is One Sexy Vamp

One of the sexiest actresses out there today to me is Kate Beckinsale. Her film credits include Much Ado About Nothing, Pearl Harbor, The Aviator, Click, etc. I loved her in the Underworld franchise. She looks fantastic in that skin tight costume. A fourth film in the series is scheduled for next year. I also adore her gorgeous accent. I'm not the only one. Esquire is also a big fan of hers. I hope you enjoy these very sexy photos (by Greg Williams) of Kate.

P.S. I won the following award from my friend Michelle awhile ago, but I never posted about it. I thought it was time to do so.
