They Came From the 1980's: The Two Heathers

Do you remember the two Heathers of the 1980's? I'm sure any red-blooded male will remember these two sex kittens. I'm speaking of Heather Locklear and Heather Thomas. Every boy I knew at school had a crush on both of these two hot babes. Most boys, however, had a favorite between the two. My favorite was Heather Locklear, while my cousin preferred Heather Thomas. Both of these beautiful television stars played a big role in my adolescence. I still have very fond memories of the two Heathers.

Were any of you a fan of either, or both, of these gorgeous women?

Heather Locklear played on two television shows back in the 1980's, T.J. Hooker and Dynasty. I watched both of them.

Heather Thomas played on
The Fall Guy, which starred one of my idols (Lee Majors).

P.S. I'm seeking some advice. I know I've mentioned this before, but I wanted to get some help if I can. I really want to revamp both my blogs. The main thing is that I want to switch up to a three column template. I've looked around, but it's like I can't really find the right code. I see people around with some really cool looking blogs that have three columns. I'd love to still be able to use a blog header like the one I've got on this and my other blog. All the templates I find don't seem to let me use a header at all. Anybody have any suggestions at all? Do you know of or have a template code that I could use on this and my other blog? I would greatly appreciate any help at all. I'm not a tech whiz at all so I usually have trouble with this sort of thing. Thanks so much. You're the best.

I'd Love To Get Lost With Evangeline Lilly, Plus I Won An Award

Evangeline Lilly's role as the tough and beautiful Kate Austin recently came to an end with the final episode of Lost. She's been one of the most popular television actresses of this past decade. I totally understand why. I wouldn't mind getting stranded on an island with her. These sexy photos (by Bowen Smith) were featured in Esquire.

P.S. Recently I was awarded the Versatile Blogger award by my buddy J.D. at his cool blog Radiator Heaven.

vblogger

Here is what I'm suppose to do:

1. Thank the person who gave you the award.

2. Share 7 things about yourself.

3. Pass the award along to 15 who you have recently discovered and who you think fantastic for whatever reason (in no particular order)
.

4. Contact the blogs you picked and let them know about the award.

Here are the 7 things about me:

1. I've been a big fan of the trashy novels by Jackie Collins since I was a teen back in the 80's.

2. One of my favorite shows back in the 80's was Dynasty. I was so in love with Joan Collins.

3. One of my favorite female singers in the 80's was Sheena Easton. I loved her song Sugar Walls. Embedding was disabled so I put a link to the video.

4. I was a big fan of all the teen moves in the 80's featuring the Brat Pack. St. Elmo's Fire was my favorite of those movies.

5. One of my favorite shows on television today is Gossip Girl. I have a huge crush on Leighton Meester.

6. I love the show Doctor Who. My favorite companion of the Doctor's since the show came back on is Martha Jones (played by Freema Agyeman).

7. I am a big fan of Fefe Dobson. I think she's awesome. She's gorgeous, talented & so cool.

There are way too many blogs that I would love to give this award to. I know there are definitely more than 15. Instead of naming any particular blogs, I'm awarding this to anybody who wants it.

Diana Rigg Is Ready For Action

I love all these photos of Diana Rigg. They were sent to me by my friend Michael. I hope you enjoy them. It's always great to see some pictures of Diana, the English actress known best for her roles in The Avengers and On Her Majesty's Secret Service.

Morticia Addams & Lily Munster Are Two Spooky Cool Moms

I grew up watching both The Addams Family and The Munsters in syndication. I always loved both those shows. Each show had their own spooky beautiful matriarch. The Addams Family had Morticia Addams, played by Carolyn Jones, and The Munsters had Lily Munster, played by Yvonne De Carlo. I actually dreamed about having either of these characters as my mom. I always thought that would have been so cool. I guess it shows what kind of kid I was. lol

I Love Wonder Woman

When I was growing up, one of my favorite tv shows was Wonder Woman (1976-1979). I had such a huge crush on Lynda Carter. She was one of the first women that helped me realize what it was that boys and men loved about the opposite sex.

Eartha Kitt Passes Away on Christmas Day

I hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas. I had a great time spending the holiday with my family and friends. I also loved being off from work. The Christmas holiday is always a bittersweet time for me, however, because it's the day that Dean Martin passed away. This was the 13th anniversary of his death. More tragedy hit on this year's holiday because Eartha Kitt passed away at the age of 81 after a long battle with colon cancer. I was devastated to hear the news. I've always been a big fan of Eartha. I definitely had to mention it here on my blog. I'm posting some pictures of her from her role as Catwoman on the campy Batman series of the 60's. I've also included a tribute video featuring one of her songs This Is My Life. I hope you like the pictures and the video. I raise a toast in honor of the amazing Eartha Kitt. May she rest in peace.

Julie Newmar Is Still The Purr-fect Catwoman

Julie Newmar was the first actress to play Catwoman on the campy 1960's Batman series. While other actresses have played the part since then, no actress has embodied Catwoman as purr-fectly as Julie Newmar. I got a huge crush on her from the first time I ever saw her. She was always incredibly sexy in that skin-tight costume. I find her so alluring and seductive. Heck, I would have jumped at the chance to assist Catwoman in her criminal pursuits. I know I'm not the only one who feels that way. Even Bruce Wayne/Batman had a thing for her. You could cut the sexual tension between these two with a knife. When I think of Catwoman, I'll always think of Julie Newmar first and foremost. Nobody could play a feline vixen quite like her. Enjoy the pictures.
