Tamara Dobson was a model and actress. She is best known for her role in the blaxploitation films Cleopatra Jones (1973) and Cleopatra Jones & the Casino of Gold (1975). She passed away in 2006 of complications from pneumonia and multiple sclerosis.
I'm posting the movie trailer for Cleopatra Jones as well as a tribute video in honor of Tamara Dobson.

P.S. This blog was honored with the Superior Scribbler Award by Steve at the cool blog The Last Picture Show. I appreciate it very much. Extra Note: I added this in on Wednesday, October 28th. I also received this award from the very sexy blog Nylon Dreams. Thanks so much.
It is my duty to now bestow this award on five other blogs. This is always hard to do because there are so many blogs worthy of this award. Here are the five I have picked: Don't Stand There Gawping! I Know, Right? Marisa Mell
I love Pam Grier. I'm a huge fan of her movie Foxy Brown. This is a really cool graphic.
You definitely don't wanna mess with Foxy Brown aka Pam Grier. She's my kind of woman.
P.S. My sister Stephanie has started a blog. It's called Chic Femme. She plans to cover everything from fashion to entertainment. The blog is fairly new, but she does have a few posts up so far. I hope you'll check it out. I know she would appreciate it. I would too. Please feel free to leave her some comments on any posts you like. Thanks.
I had some guys rough me up this weekend. I'm in pretty bad shape. That's why it's great to have women like Pam Grier in my life. She's beautiful and tough. I told her I would handle it when I got back on my feet. She would have none of that. She took matters into her hands. Let's just say that nobody was left standing after she was done with them. That's my girl. Gotta love her.
Some of my favorite blaxploitation films starred strong and beautiful black women. These are the posters for Sugar Hill, Cleopatra Jones & TNT Jackson. I love all three of these films. I hope you like these posters.
P.S. Please check out my latest post at Celluloid Slammer. It's a video from the Dean Martin Christmas Special in 1977. I hope you enjoy it. Cheers!
Many of my favorite movies of the 1970's starred Pam Grier. Here are posters from some of her movies that I love. I hope you like them. Do you have a favorite Pam Grier movie?
Thanks for all the encouragement and support you've given me this week concerning my newest blog. I really appreciate it. I'm glad that so many of you are enjoying it. I'm having a lot of fun with it myself. There's nothing quite like the hot chicks of the 60's and 70's. It's awesome knowing that so many others agree with me on that. I hope you will continue to check out this blog and leave your comments. I love hearing from all of you. Have a great weekend. Cheers!
