Penelope Cruz In Fashion & Film, Plus My First Giveaway
One of my favorite actresses of today is Penelope Cruz. She's not only stunningly beautiful, but also talented and stylish. I am so in love with her sexy Spanish accent. I could listen to her talk for hours and hours. Her film credits include Blow (2001), Bandidas (2005), Volver (2006), Vicky Cristina Barcelona (2008), etc. She won the Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her performance in Vicky Cristina Barcelona. She can be seen in a couple of films this season, Broken Embraces and Nine. Penelope, along with her sister Monica, developed a clothing collection for the Spanish-based fashion chain Mango. Here are some of the photos promoting that line. I hope you like them. So do are you a fan of Penelope? Do you like these clothes? Let me know what you think.
Here are the movie trailers for Broken Embraces & Nine. Who wants to see either of these two films?
P.S. Please be sure to check out and enter my first giveaway here at Sugar & Spice. Click on Perricone Giveaway. It runs until Friday, December 18th. Leave a comment on that post to be entered. It's only open to United States residents. Thanks for entering. Good luck.

Tamara Dobson Is Cleopatra Jones
Tamara Dobson was a model and actress. She is best known for her role in the blaxploitation films Cleopatra Jones (1973) and Cleopatra Jones & the Casino of Gold (1975). She passed away in 2006 of complications from pneumonia and multiple sclerosis.
I'm posting the movie trailer for Cleopatra Jones as well as a tribute video in honor of Tamara Dobson.

Claudia Jennings Ain't Gonna Be Gator Bait
I love this poster for Gator Bait, the 1974 film starring the late Claudia Jennings.
I'm not sure how many of you have seen this movie. I've included the trailer instead of trying to give you an idea of what this movie is about. It should explain all you need to know. I hope you enjoy it.

Stephanie Beacham Meets Dracula In The Groovy 1970's
I actually first saw Stephanie Beacham on The Colbys and Dynasty. It was at some point after that when I was making my way through all the Hammer movies starring Christopher Lee as Dracula. It was when I came to 1972's Dracula A.D. 1972 (click on the title to be able to watch the whole movie online) that I discovered Stephanie had been a Hammer babe at one time. This film was Hammer's updating of the Dracula franchise into a modern setting. Stephanie played Jessica Van Helsing, the granddaughter of Abraham Van Helsing.
P.S. I wanted to thank all of those you have been visiting and commenting on my sister Stephanie's blog Chic Femme. I really appreciate it. She's having a lot of fun blogging. I know she's been thrilled with all the positive feedback you guys have given her. I hope you will continue to visit and comment on her blog. For those who haven't checked it out yet or haven't been in awhile, I hope you will definitely drop by her blog. I would greatly appreciate it. I know she would too. Thank you all very much.

Valerie Leon In Blood From A Mummy's Tomb
Blood From The Mummy's Tomb is a 1971 horror film starring Valerie Leon. The film centers around an archaeological expedition that discovers the tomb of an evil Egyptian queen.
P.S. The trailer for the film had its embedding disabled so I linked it through the movie's title. I hope you'll check it out.

The Vampire Lovers
The Vampire Lovers is a Hammer horror movie from 1970. The film is about a sexy vampire, played by Ingrid Pitt, who preys on Emma (Madeline Smith) and other beautiful young women. It is based on the vampire novella Carmilla. The movie is quite daring for its depiction of lesbianism. It's one of my favorite movies done by Hammer Films.

You Had Better Not Mess With Pam Grier
I love Pam Grier. I'm a huge fan of her movie Foxy Brown. This is a really cool graphic.
You definitely don't wanna mess with Foxy Brown aka Pam Grier. She's my kind of woman.
P.S. My sister Stephanie has started a blog. It's called Chic Femme. She plans to cover everything from fashion to entertainment. The blog is fairly new, but she does have a few posts up so far. I hope you'll check it out. I know she would appreciate it. I would too. Please feel free to leave her some comments on any posts you like. Thanks.

Living In The Valley Of The Dolls
I am a huge fan of the campy Valley of the Dolls. The 1966 novel by Jacqueline Susann is one of my favorite trashy reads. I also love the 1967 movie starring Barbara Parkins, Sharon Tate & Patty Duke. The dolls in the title refer to drugs for those that have never read the book or seen the movie. I highly recommend both. The story deals with these three younger women as they pursue love and their careers. Each of them become dependent in some form or fashion on drugs. The story is full of a lot of ups and downs. It's definitely a camp classic. I'm sure some of you have bound to have seen it, right?

Soledad Miranda's Got A Gun
I told my girlfriend that this guy was giving me some trouble at work. She decided to take matters into her own hands. I had no idea this is what she meant.
Seriously though. That's Soledad Miranda in the 1971 Jess Franco film The Devil Came From Akasava. She's credited in the film as Susann Korda. This movie could be considered to be a Franco contribution to Euro-Spy genre. A certain stone is discovered that can turn metal into gold, but also has the effect of turning humans into zombies. It seems everybody wants this stone. Secret agents are sent in on a mission to retrieve it. This is actually one of my favorite Jess Franco films. It's got all the hallmarks of a Franco film that his fans love and his critics hate. The sexy beauty of Soledad Miranda is on full display here. I could watch that women for hours and hours. Tragically she was killed in a car accident soon after filming was completed on this film.
Check out the trailer to get a better idea of what this movie is all about:

Pussycat, Pussycat, I Love You
While I've seen What's New Pussycat?, I've never seen its sequel Pussycat, Pussycat, I Love You. Here's the poster and trailer for the film released in 1970. It looks like it would be a cool and fun movie to watch. Anybody here ever seen this one?

Dorothy Stratten As Galaxina
Galaxina is a low budget science fiction movie released in 1980. Dorothy Stratten (Playboy's Playmate Of the Year 1980) plays the title character, an android who falls in love with her ship's pilot. Unfortuntely Dorothy's life and career would be cut short because she was tragically murdered in August of 1980.

I Want To Be Diabolik
I am a huge fan of the movie Danger: Diabolik. John Phillip Law is so awesome as Diabolik, while Marisa Mell is so sexy as Eva Kant. I wanted to be Diabolik from the first time I saw this movie. He's got it all - a hot babe girlfriend, lots of cash & other treasures, a hip pad, a cool car, etc. Now that's the life!
Here's the trailer for the movie:
