I'm Taking A Break From Sugar & Spice!

I had wanted to do this post to celebrate one of my favorite holidays, Halloween. I don't have a lot to celebrate right now. My computer died last night. I'm using my cousin's computer to write this message. I don't know what I'm going to do. I'm going to see if my laptop can be fixed inexpensively. If not, I'm going to have to get a new one before I start back in college the first of the year. I really didn't need this new expense. I'm not going to be able to be online much right now since I don't have my own computer. I'm going to have to take a break from the blogging world. This will be my last post for right now. I'm not going to be able to check out your blogs either for awhile. I'm so sorry about everything. I'll miss you guys so much. I'm hoping to be back as soon as I can. Take care. These images are from the Jess Franco film Eugenie de Sade. This early 70's film starred the late actress Soledad Miranda. Soledad was born in Spain to Portuguese parents. She starred in quite a few films for Franco before her untimely death at the young age of 27. This particular film is about a young woman who begins a love affair with her stepfather, an erotic writer, played by Paul Muller. This affair leads them to commit murder. It's actually one of my favorite films by Jess Franco. Enjoy these photos of the stunning Soledad Miranda. She is still sorely missed by so many of us.

Elle Macpherson Is All About 60's Love

I've seen these photos of Elle Macpherson around the internet so I wanted to share them with you guys. I've had a huge crush on Elle since I can remember. She's still incredibly sexy to this day. I love the whole 60's vibe of these photos and video. These photos were shot by Sharif Hamza for issue #4 of Love magazine. P.S. Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers. I really appreciate it. This has definitely been a difficult time in my life. I've been so stressed out. I'm really nervous about the future. I'm not quite sure yet what I'm going to do. I am putting in some job applications. I'm also seeking out some short term work even if I can't find anything more substantial. I'm really considering going back to college. One of the biggest regrets of my life is that I never finished college. I know that's been the main reason in my life why I've gone from one dead end job to another. It's time for a change in my life. I'm almost 40 years old. I can't keep on going on like this. I'm seriously considering going back to college to further my education. I believe that's the best thing for me to do. I'm talking with my family, friends, church, etc. about my studies as well as trying to find some work. Please continue to keep me in your thoughts and prayers. It means so much to me. Thanks. I wanted to let everybody know that posts from me right now might be few and far between. I was laid off from work on Tuesday. I've got to find a job now. I'm really nervous because the job market is so tough right now. There just aren't a lot of jobs out there right now. I do ask that you keep me in your thoughts and prayers.

Learning How to Tell Cubic Zirconia from Diamond

Diamonds are relatively rare in the world. This rarity equates to higher prices and also to a limited number of stones on the market at any one time. Cubic zirconia has become the single most popular alternative to diamonds, due to the lower price of the stones and their amazing similarity to natural diamonds. However, learning how to tell cubic zirconia from diamond can put you in good stead if you're in the market for a real stone.

How do you tell if the stone you're looking at is cubic zirconia or a natural diamond? One of the first things you should look at is the facets of the stone in question. You will need a jeweler's loupe for this, or a microscope. On a true diamond, the facets will be very clean, with a knife-like edge. On a cubic zirconia, the edges of the facets will be more rounded. In addition, facets on a CZ are usually much more uniform than on a natural diamond, due to the need to conserve mass on a natural stone.

Another option in how to tell cubic zirconia from diamond is to weigh two stones of the same size and proportions. Cubic zirconia is 1.6 times heavier than diamond (greater density). Therefore, if your stone seems like a lightweight in comparison to a cubic zirconia, then you probably have a true diamond.

Yet another way in how to tell cubic zirconia from diamond is to check the flaws within the stone. Of course, you'll need a loupe or a microscope for this, as well. If you see tiny flaws and inclusions within the stone, it's pretty likely that you have a real diamond. CZs usually have no flaws at all (or very, very few). Of course, a jeweler can help you make the distinction in a short time, as well.

They Came From the 1980's: The Two Heathers

Do you remember the two Heathers of the 1980's? I'm sure any red-blooded male will remember these two sex kittens. I'm speaking of Heather Locklear and Heather Thomas. Every boy I knew at school had a crush on both of these two hot babes. Most boys, however, had a favorite between the two. My favorite was Heather Locklear, while my cousin preferred Heather Thomas. Both of these beautiful television stars played a big role in my adolescence. I still have very fond memories of the two Heathers.

P.S. I'm seeking some advice. I know I've mentioned this before, but I wanted to get some help if I can. I really want to revamp both my blogs. The main thing is that I want to switch up to a three column template. I've looked around, but it's like I can't really find the right code. I see people around with some really cool looking blogs that have three columns. I'd love to still be able to use a blog header like the one I've got on this and my other blog. All the templates I find don't seem to let me use a header at all. Anybody have any suggestions at all? Do you know of or have a template code that I could use on this and my other blog? I would greatly appreciate any help at all. I'm not a tech whiz at all so I usually have trouble with this sort of thing. Thanks so much. You're the best.

Miranda Kerr Is My Kind Of Angel, Plus Giveaway Winner Announced

My favorite model of today is Miranda Kerr. I find her incredibly sexy. Orlando Bloom is such a lucky man to be dating this goddess. I just knew I had to post these gorgeous photos (by Mariano Vivanco) of her when I saw them in the June issue of Elle. They are definitely beautiful and stunning. Marion Cotillard Is Belle In The Dictionary

French actress Marion Cotillard is featured on the cover of the July issue of Vogue. There is also a beautiful editorial of her within the pages of the magazine. I definitely wanted to share these photos (by Mario Testino) with you. Not long ago I got a chance to see Marion in Nine. I loved her performance. She was one of the best things about the film. She won the Best Actress Oscar a few years back for her portrayal of Edith Piaf in La vie en rose. Marion is truly beautiful, talented & stylish. She's another example of why I adore French women so much.
