I've been to both. I actually went on my honeymoon to Paris. That's where I always wanted to go when I got married.

I wish flying was the same now as it was back then. Things were so much cozier and romantic 30 years ago. To be a stewardess was a big deal for a girl. It was a glamorous, fun job where you got to look pretty. Hell, I would have tried to become one! Lol.
And it seems like the chairs were more comfortable, the service was more personal, and the food was better. I dunno, I never lived through that period, but that's the hunch I get from movies and old commercials...
Anyway, sorry to deviate from your post. Lol. I hope you and the air bunnies have a lovely flight. ;)
Hey Jennifer. Thanks for commenting. I loved your comment. I totally understand where you're coming from. I'm not a big fan of flying in the modern era. It's not a pleasant experience at all. From what I've seen in movies, etc. of that era as well as talking with people who flew back then, it definitely sounds like my kind of flight. Have a cool weekend. Cheers!
