While I love plenty of the gorgeous women out there today, I really love a lot of the women of the past. The 50's, 60's & 70's gave us some of the most beautiful ladies ever. I had so many examples of these that I wanted to share that I'm dividing it into two posts. The second part will be posted on Thursday. I hope you enjoy these photos. Which of these do you really like? Let me know what you think.

Manfield .. Is that waist for real??..They are all great :) I was a big Charlies Angels fan. I wanted to be Jacklyn Smith:)
Totally agree. Raquel Welch and Pam Grier especially each have a special place in my heart!
WOW, I am rather fixated by the picture of Pam Grier here, I love ladies of the past too, great post!!! xoxo
Jayne Mansfield waist was so small!! How did she breathe?? beautiful corsette tho! Woa Rose Mcgowan does look a lil bit like Ava Gardner! CooL!
Jane is obviously stunningly beautiful and oh so sexy.
Raquel will however take the price for the sexiest of all. She used to be super sexy.
not that the other are not sexy, but those two are my choices.
Thanks for sharing and thanks for dropping a line on my last post.
Hope your week goes well.
Colin.

Holy cow, is Jayne Mansfield's waist really that tiny? That's unbelievable! I love the photos of the Playboy bunnies -- compared to now, this photo to me catches more attention just by the way they are posing and how they actually have clothes on. Hahaha

thanks for your comment darling!!
im glad to know your opinion of my look :P
great photos you put here!!

Key word in this post: WOMEN. Back then, women looked and acted like women. They were curvy and seductive, but not trashy. And they were moms and wives that managed even with cloth nappies and no nannies!
I wish that there could be a movement back toward womanly silhouettes, and real personal fortitude. I'm so sick of all the whiny, weak women in the world these days.

I've always loved Debbie Harrie! Her looks are so completely timeless.
Awesome array of photos - always dig seeing pics of the beautiful Claudia Jennings and that Debbie Harry photo is outta sight too!
They had some serious impact and style
Iconic images, all. But for me, that shot of Ava Gardner just exudes sultry, come-hither glamour.
Ooo loving this!! Marsha Hunt is insanely pretty- those eyes!! Gotta love it. Also, I don't know how Debbie Harry is but she is very pretty as well but sorry... Raquel Welch takes the. Geez louise, what a bombshell!
i'm going with raquel welch, although they are all bangin!

- I'm not a fan of Debbie Harry, but she's sexy on that pic.
- Pam Grier is just... wow! (check pictures here: http://lostintheseventies.blogspot.com/2010/01/la-pin-up-de-la-semaine-n18-pam-grier.html)
- I didn't know Marsha hunt but she must be my next pin-up... and then Femi Benussi :D
What a fantastic selection of photos! Couldn't agree more. I adore Debbie Harry, but all these women are fantastic and those who are still with us look just as good today.
Raquel Welsh was always a favourite of mine. She always looked great through the years.
